This is a contract role through Magnit for Consumers Energy in Jackson, Michigan. This role is hybrid to Jackson, MI and will require reporting onsite every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday as a minimum a week.
Job Duties:
Organize the routing of documents throughout the process from conceptualization, approvals, distribution to filing. Monitor the distribution and reconciliation of process or reference documents.
Establish and maintain the documentation control system/log. Process documents for revision and approval.
Create, review and revise documentation procedure according to standard operating procedures.
Document control specialists must be skilled in word processing and database software, as well as have outstanding communication skills and attention to detail.
Have the ability to create and manage SharePoint sites, designate site admins, manage sharing settings, and manage Microsoft 365 groups, including creating, deleting, and restoring groups, and changing group owner.
Document control specialists must be skilled in word processing and database software, as well as have outstanding communication skills and attention to detail.
They must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and working as part of a team.
Be able to create metadata, upload documents, and manage libraries.
Some college coursework in technical writing, English, computer science or a related field. Bachelor's degree and some experience with technical writing preferred.
SharePoint experience is a must.

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)
The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $ 22-$28/hr
