Description:

This is a contract role through Magnit for Consumers Energy in Jackson, Michigan. This role is fully remote in the US with preference for candidates from Michigan.

Job Overview:

  • This position is an individual contributor responsible for the overall management and administration of the Unifier Project Management Information System (PMIS) at CE.  This will include independent leadership and collaboration with end users and the IT partner organization as well as consulting firms to manage the effective running and evolution of the system.  In addition, this position will support other Digital Tools areas of the EPMO as those are identified as workload allows.
  • Unifier Production Support -- ongoing support of the Unifier system and users of the system including managing user feedback, changes to business processes (BPs) through design, testing, and deployment, user training, continuous improvement.
  • Unifier Upgrade Planning - understand upgrade scope and timing from supplier, evaluate available system upgrades against business needs and user feedback, work with IT partners to implement, test, and deploy upgrades as needed.
  • Training -- work with EPMO Communications and Training Lead to develop and deliver Unifier training on an ongoing/as-needed basis.  Mentor new and existing users in the use of Business Processes as need.
  • Process Work -- maintain alignment with EPMO Process and Standards Lead to ensure Unifier BP's and Help Files remain aligned with and support written EPMO processes.
  • Change Management -- work with EPMO Communications and Training Lead to develop change-management approaches and plans for managing change, then execute the change-management plan.
  • Report & Dashboard Creation -- work with EPMO and Users to identify needs and develop reports or work with Consultants to deliver reports.
  • Integration with Digital Tools used across EPM or Consumers-wide org.

Responsibilities:

  • Other non-essential duties as assigned or may be necessary
  •  Maintains Company-level Primavera Unifier properties
  • Creates and maintains users and groups within the system
  • Creates and maintains partner companies and users
  • Creates and/or modifies Primavera Unifier Shells
  • Maintains workflows and associated permissions
  • Defines data-views and creates data-cubes to support and create native reports / dashboards
  • Assigns user access permissions
  • Manage proxy users
  • Manage production change management, including coordination with IT Company Admin
  • Assist with ongoing end user training
  • Maintains the business process (BP) setup for each Project (Shell)
  • Creates Primavera Unifier User-Defined Reports (UDRs) & dashboards
  • Assist with ongoing training and end user support
  • Creates companies, roles, and other attributes in the Unifier environment
  • Defines the number of licensed users in alignment with the contract terms
  • Establishes the base currency supporting the cost-related functions
  • Creates the Company Administrator user and/or group permissions
  • Manages system announcements
  • Generates usage reports to understand and evaluate user access and utilization

Requirements:

  • Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools,, SQL, and API integrations for data migration and reporting.
  • System Administration: Configuring workflows, managing user access/permissions, and maintaining data accuracy across the enterprise platform.
  • Project Management Knowledge: Understanding of project lifecycles, methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), and governance structures.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Ability to create dashboards, validate data, and generate performance metrics for stakeholders.
  • Communication & Support: Providing training to users, documentation, and troubleshooting, acting as the bridge between technical teams and project managers.
  • Is technology savvy and has a knowledge of the business practices and processes 

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or Computer Science or equivalent professional experience is preferred. 

Experience designing, configuring or administering Unifier, similar Oracle products, or similar systems for business-execution is preferred.                   

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)

The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $ 37.77-$50.36/hr
