This is a contract role through Magnit for Consumers Energy. This is a hybrid role to Jackson, Michigan and will require working 3 days/week onsite.
Job Title: Power Apps/Power BI Developer II
Responsibilities:
We need people with great energy, communication skills, and problem-solving skills and who have the proven ability to develop and reverse engineer complex solutions. The role will require in-depth experience in Microsoft Cloud Technologies including: PowerApps, Power BI, SharePoint, JSON and others to empower our daily transactions. Create, configure and support Power Apps, Power Automate workflows ; Power Bi dashboards.• Translate abstract business requirements into actionable technical requirements which can be executed using Power Apps, utilizing best practices within the Power Platform Community• Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools.. Need remote work availability as well at times.
Requirements:
Strong hands-on experience in the Microsoft Power Platform, including: Power Apps, Power Automate (Flow), Power Apps, Power BI, DataVerse ; SharePoint.
Database design, maintenance, querying (views, stored procedures, indexes, primary ; foreign keys, constraints, etc.).
Ability to compose complex SQL queries and layout normalized, transactional tables
Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
Ability to work in a complex environment with changing requirements

Proficiency in DAX
Working knowledge of Power Query
Agile/Scrum experience
EDUCATION:
Bachelors or Associates with 2+ years experience
Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)
The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $40-$50
