This is a contract role through Magnit for Consumers Energy in Jackson, Michigan. This is a hybrid role and will require onsite presence 3 days per week to collaborate with stakeholders and drive project success.

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior S/4 HANA Project Manager to lead S/4 HANA implementation and optimization efforts for a utility company in Jackson, Michigan. The ideal candidate will have a background in gas and electric utilities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end SAP S/4 HANA implementation projects.
• Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, operations, and external vendors.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in utility operations.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Oversee change management and user adoption strategies.
• Monitor project performance and report progress to client senior leadership.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in SAP project management, with multiple S/4 HANA implementation experience.  
• Proven track record of leading large-scale SAP implementations in the utility sector (preferred). 
• Understanding of gas and electric utility business processes and regulatory requirements.
• Expertise in SAP Activate methodology and Agile project management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Location: Ability to work on-site in Jackson, Michigan on designated days.

• Working knowledge of the Clarity tool is preferred. 
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field.
• PMP Certification preferred.

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)

The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $ 85 - $107/ per hour
