This is a contract role through Magnit for Consumers Energy. This is a hybrid role and requires reporting onsite 3 days week. Any candidate who lives in a commutable distance to Jackson are encouraged to apply.

The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting Lead Development Managers in delivery of new generation projects. These activities may include status reporting, scheduling, maintaining risks/issues/changes, running meetings, taking notes at meetings, filling in for the Development Manager when required, etc.  Work is usually done in an office environment, though some travel may occasionally be required.

Requirements:

General knowledge of project management and familiarity with the project management lifecycle process.

 Proficient in MS office tools, especially excel, word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.

 Other platform experience that would be a plus includes Unifier, ProjectWise, and PowerBI. 

Project coordinators must be well-organized, capable of working under pressure, and able to multitask, and attention to detail and a patient demeanor are also important. 

Bachelors degree is preferred.  PMI/Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred. 

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)

The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $ 23.27-31.02/hr
