This is a contract role through Magnit for Consumers Energy in Jackson, Michigan. The duration of this contract is approximately 11-months. Work Schedule: 40 hours/week with overtime available as needed.
Duties:
The Scheduled Outage Coordinator Support position (Contractor) will collaborate cross-functionally with multiple work groups to support the safe and reliable operation of the Consumers Energy HVD, LVD and Metropolitan Electric Systems for the execution of the reliability project workplan. The selected candidate will act as part of the Grid Management Scheduled Outage team and have primary focus on supporting the outage coordination process associated with maintenance and construction activities on the Consumers Energy High Voltage Distribution (HVD) and Low Voltage Distribution (LVD) systems. The position will also perform support activities in the electric control and dispatch centers during storm restoration periods.
***The ideal candidate will have prior work experience in a Gas & Electric Utility control room environment and have familiarity with switching and tagging procedures***
