This is a contract role through Magnit for Consumer's Energy in Michigan. This role is hybrid to Lithonia, Michigan so candidates living in Michigan must live in a commutable distance. This is NOT a corp to corp opportunity.

The Senior Industrial Engineer (Sr IE) supports and advances Operational Excellence throughout the Organization, utilizing intensive and diversified knowledge of industrial engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments, and leads initiatives to refine processes while reducing waste to yield efficiencies that deliver tangible benefits. The Sr Industrial Engineer uses advanced techniques and the modification and extension of theories, precepts and practices to resolve issues related to safety, compliance, quality, delivery and/or morale. The Sr Industrial Engineer observes the work, conducts time and motion studies, stratifies losses and performs root cause analysis to identify opportunities for improvement. The Sr Industrial Engineer helps implement new and enhanced processes, technologies, policies, and standard work to deliver quality safely, in compliance and within cost and timeliness expectations.

Education:

Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)

The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $55-65 per hour
