This is a contract role through Magnit for Consumers Energy in Jackson, Michigan. 

• Configure and manage Azure Monitor to ensure proactive monitoring of cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Develop and maintain alerting, logging, and dashboards to support IT operations and business continuity.
• Integrate monitoring solutions across hybrid environments, including on-premises and cloud systems.
• Collaborate with IT teams to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system reliability.
• Leverage SolarWinds and Power BI to design and manage dashboards for system health and performance reporting.
• Document monitoring processes and standards to ensure compliance and repeatability.

Requirements:

• Expertise in Azure Monitor configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure monitoring and performance optimization.
• Experience with SolarWinds for network and system monitoring.
• Proficiency in Power BI dashboard development for visualization and reporting.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret monitoring data and recommend improvements.
• Collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional IT teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, or Azure Security Engineer) preferred.
• Additional training or certifications in monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Power BI) considered a plus.

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)

The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $ 52-$62/hr
