This is a contract role through Magnit for Consumers Energy. This role is remote but candidates must be local to Michigan.

Responsibilities:

• Technical engineers are responsible for making sure that the products produced by their organization meet standards related to quality and efficiency; they do this by performing analysis of the product and also by analyzing the process(es) by which the product was produced. Additionally, technical engineers must investigate any issues that arise while examining products and processes, resolving those issues in an effective, efficient manner. These professionals are also in charge of supporting a safe work environment, helping ensure the safety of employees and products. They may also be in charge of creating and delivering presentations to managers and other employees as needed. This is generally a full-time position, with potential for overtime and travel depending on the needs of the employer.

Shift: Four 10 hour shifts, Monday - Thursday

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• basic computer programs such as the Microsoft Office suite
• excellent analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Works well independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team setting with other engineers and related colleagues.

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)

The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $40 - $51/hr
